Thanksgiving in San Diego

Everyone has their own special holiday traditions.  Maybe you celebrate with an early lunch and head to see a movie, or maybe you cook the traditional turkey yourself. But wherever you live and however you celebrate, you’re likely to see a parade, and San Diegans are no different.

One of San Diego’s big Thanksgiving highlights is the Mother Goose Parade, which took place this past Sunday.  This year’s event was hosted by Grand Marshal Cassandra Kunze, Miss California 2014, a former Queen of the Mother Goose Parade. Over 100 parade entries included floats, marching bands, clowns, horses, and the Mother Goose Queen.

Check out more photos from the event in the U-T San Diego, and tell us some of your holiday traditions in the comments!
