Making your trip affordable
We know you work hard for your money, so here are some ways to save:
Give Time, Get Money
Roll up your sleeves and save! Sign up to volunteer, and you’ll receive the lowest registration rates for CEC 2016 – only $270. CEC Student Member volunteers pay only $195!
You’ll get the best housing deals through CEC, but you can make them even better by getting a (temporary) roommate. Connect with other CEC 2016 attendees in the CECommunity to find a friend to bunk up with, and you’ll save big.
Sign up for Lunch Express to pick up a meal in the Expo Hall to save time and money. Or, show your badge at any of the participating vendors (full list coming soon), and you’ll receive special attendee discounts.
If you’re flying, taking the train, or renting a car, CEC’s travel partner, Flight Center, can take care of everything for you. Are you local? Use the CECommunity to find carpool buddies.
Several organizations offer professional development grants to teachers. Check out the NEA Foundation, the American Association of Educators’ Teacher Scholarship, and the Fund for Teachers.
